FAQ
-
How do I choose the right hot tub for my space?
Consider how you’ll use your spa — for family connection, relaxation, or hydrotherapy. From compact 2-person models to entertainer-sized tubs, our team will help you find the perfect fit for your lifestyle, space, and preferences.
-
What kind of foundation do I need?
Your hot tub or sauna should sit on a solid, level surface — typically a concrete pad, paver base, or reinforced deck that can support the full weight of the tub when filled with water and people. We can help assess your site and make sure everything is ready before delivery day.
-
Where can I view products in person?
Visit our showroom at 902 W Rose St, Walla Walla, WA, where you can experience our hot tubs and saunas firsthand and talk with our team about creating your backyard retreat.
-
Do you offer financing?
We do. Cedar & Soak partners with Salal Credit Union to make owning your dream retreat simple and affordable. Give us a call and we can chat about what that looks like.
-
What are the benefits of regular sauna use?
Saunas promote deep relaxation, muscle recovery, improved circulation, and can even support skin health. Many customers find that a nightly session becomes their favorite wellness ritual.
-
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs come with industry-leading warranties, and our cedar saunas include manufacturer coverage against defects in materials or workmanship. We’ll walk you through specific details before purchase.
-
What kind of electrical setup do I need?
Dedicated circuit: Your spa must have its own breaker and line — it can’t share power with other household appliances.
GFCI protection: This ensures safe operation around water and is typically located either in the main panel or in a weatherproof disconnect box near the spa.
Conduit and wiring: Your electrician will run appropriately rated outdoor wiring through conduit from your panel to the spa location.
Distance: For most installations, the GFCI disconnect must be at least 5 feet from the tub (for safety) but within sight of it.
120V “plug-and-play” models: Some smaller spas can plug directly into a standard outlet, but most premium models (like Jacuzzi®) require hardwiring for full heater and jet performance.
-
Do you offer maintenance or water care services?
Yes. We provide ongoing water care, seasonal maintenance, and service support to keep your hot tub or sauna running beautifully year-round.
-
Can you install a hot tub or sauna I purchased elsewhere?
Absolutely. We offer installation-only services for products not purchased through Cedar & Soak. Our team can also assist with removal and disposal of your old unit if needed.
